I work with scholars at any stage of the writing process.

Excellent writing is rarely a solitary act, but professional academic editing is more than having a second pair of eyes to catch grammatical errors. Building on my years as a history professor and an editor, I approach my work as a collaboration to make your scholarly writing the best that it can be. Whether it's a book manuscript, a journal article, a dissertation, or an index, your final product will be demonstrably more polished and effective.

Margaret was a joy to work with. She approaches editing as a collaboration, and her critical lens and candor improved my book markedly.
